Why this field decides something

Titration to a maintenance dose runs roughly 20 to 24 weeks, and the label states 2.5 mg is treatment initiation and is not approved as a maintenance dosage. A programme that raises its price at each step collects its advertised figure for about one month of an indefinite treatment. This is the single field that most changes what a year costs, and it is the field least often published.

Every provider on this field

A single “starting at” column cannot be sorted, and here is the proof

Directories in this category present one price column across every listing, sortable low to high. We checked one such directory of 255 providers against the figures we captured on the providers' own pages.

At least four different units sit in one sortable column: medication prices, membership fees, all-in totals and visit fees. Sorted ascending, it returns a $25 membership above a $125 all-inclusive programme, and tells the reader the first is cheaper.

This is not carelessness. It is what happens when a comparison is built to be sortable before it is built to be comparable. We do not publish a single sortable price column, which makes this site less satisfying to skim and is the reason our tables carry a term, a structure and an evidence grade beside every figure.

The same directory lists 255 providers. We track 30. Our coverage is a subset and we would rather say so than imply this market is thirty companies.

How we record it

We record flat only where we read the provider's own statement that the price does not change with dose, and captured it with a date. A provider that simply does not mention escalation is recorded as not stated, not as flat.

If you expect to reach 10 mg or above, rank on this field before price.

Capture standing: 35 of 86 price records in this dataset were read at the source by us: 24 from NexLife and 6 from Lilly's own pages for brand Zepbound. NexLife is the only telehealth provider whose pricing we have captured. Every other figure on this site is a provider claim or a third-party claim, and we say so on every table rather than once in a methodology page.
